Oh Hello!

Having both been thrown into the clutches of adult life, graduating in 2019 and 2018 respectively, Laura and I have suffered from phantom limb syndrome. Something crucial from our very beings has been missing.

For a considerable amount of time, we hosted Morning Breath weekly on Glasgow’s Subcity Radio. Each Wednesday morning, we would trudge up to the studio at a ludicrously early hour (7:30 am is tough when you’re a student) to help our listeners, and each other, get through the midweek hump. We would chat, catch up on-air, and play fun and mostly upbeat music (except for our hangover episodes which consisted exclusively of piano music to soothe our aching heads). Alas, as our student days came to an end, so did the regularity of Morning Breath.

At the end of 2019, we decided to fix this unfortunate lapse and have spent the last month formulating a plan to bring Morning Breath back into our lives to relieve that phantom itch. Which brings us here, to our shiny new website. You see, we’re expanding our brand. Not only are we going to continue to infect Subcity’s airwaves, but we are going to be writing about it all now too. In short, you may now call us bloggers / even more insufferable.

However, fear not. We are taking this seriously and aim to bring you genuinely good content. We already have one exciting wee project in the bag, which will be unfolding over the next few weeks and we are planning on bringing you all the latest cultural news and goings-on that Glasgow has to offer.
